Class Types

Blended Learning vs. Classroom

Blended Learning is slightly more expensive, but allows you to go at your own pace with the online classroom, which roughly takes 2 hours to complete. Once the online portion is completed it is required by both the American Heart Association and The American Red Cross to complete a 1 hour 30 minute in-person practical.

The Classroom setting is a much longer held class instead of the hour and a half practical. This class runs roughly 3 hours or 5-6 hours depending on certification that is being acquired. The classroom is powerpoint driven along with hands-on practicals.

This class will teach you how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and cardiac arrest. Proceeding with how to videos from powerpoint presentation and hands-on practice for CPR and use of the AED machine.

*This is classroom only and is approximately 3 hours.
